Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Onboarding and Connecting Social Media to CRM
Objective: This SOP outlines the steps to onboard a new client and connect their social media accounts—such as Google Business Profile and Facebook—to the CRM system.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Welcome and Introduction
Welcome to Mediavine! Thank you for becoming our client. Today, we'll focus on onboarding and adding your social media accounts to the CRM, including connecting your Google Business Profile, Facebook, and other platforms.
Note: To connect Instagram, first link your Instagram account with Facebook. Then, follow the steps to connect your Facebook account to the CRM. This is the only way to connect Instagram to the CRM.
2. Connecting Your Facebook Account to the CRM
Navigate to the Marketing Tab:
Go to the "Marketing" tab on the left-hand side of the CRM dashboard.
Choose the Account to Connect:
The system will prompt you to select which Facebook account you want to add. Choose the appropriate account from the list.
Confirm Connection:
Click on the account name. Once it displays "Connected," your Facebook account is successfully linked to the CRM.
Close the Connection Window:
After confirming the connection, close the window.
3. Verifying and Using the Connected Account
Verify Connection:
Ensure that your Facebook account is connected. You should see a confirmation message.
Get Started:
Click "Get Started" to proceed. You should see that one social media account is connected.
Create a New Post:
Select the connected Facebook account (e.g., Mediavine Corp).
Add an image from your library or upload a new file.
4. Posting Content
Upload Image and Content:
Upload a file as an example and enter the desired content for your post.
Post Options:
You can choose to:
Post now
Schedule a post
Send the post for approval
Schedule a recurring post
Schedule a Post:
For example, to schedule a post for the next day:
Select the date and time (e.g., Friday, July 5th, at 8:00 AM).
Click "Schedule Post."
5. Confirmation of Scheduled Post
Verify Scheduled Post:
Confirm that the post is scheduled and set to be published at the designated time.
