Use this SOP to guide a client through giving your team full Facebook Page access. This version also explains what to do when your name or email does not appear in search.
This process allows a client to grant Full Control access to their Facebook Page so your team can help manage posting, scheduling, and page activity.
This is the main path the client should follow inside Facebook.
Ask the client to add you as a Facebook friend first if they cannot find your profile during the search step. This often resolves the issue immediately.
Have the client log into their Facebook account from a desktop browser if possible, since the layout is easier to follow there.
From the top-right profile menu, the client should switch into the business Page profile or open the business Page they want to manage.
Inside the Facebook Page, have them scroll down the left menu and click Settings.
Under Settings, click Page Access. This is where Facebook lets them manage existing permissions and invite new people.
In the section for people with Facebook access, click Add New, then click Next.
The client should type the exact Facebook profile name. If that does not work, they can try the email connected to the Facebook account. For Media Vines, please type in Hanh Bui or [email protected]. Note, make sure you choose the right one. I am the person in a white suit
Once the correct person is selected, turn on the option labeled Allow this person to have full control.
This is the setting that gives manager-level access.
Click Give Access. Facebook will ask the client to re-enter their password to confirm the change.
The invited person will receive a Facebook notification and must accept the invitation before access becomes active.
If your name and email still do not appear after trying the steps above, the client may need to add access through Meta Business Suite instead of standard Page Access.
You can copy and send this message directly to a client.
